Dr Sarah Shapiro-Ward
Owner & Trainer
Sarah Shapiro-Ward (She/Her) holds a PhD, CPDT-KA & KPA-CTP. Sarah is a professional dog trainer best known for her viral trick videos of her cockapoo Percy playing Jenga, Connect 4 and painting on canvas. When not training tricks, Sarah also has extensive experience working with reactive and aggressive dogs and has an affinity for teaching group classes. Sarah is a frequent guest on the live call-in radio show CBC BC Today where she answers dog behaviour questions and has been featured on Jimmy Fallon, The Daily Mail UK, NHK Japan, Good Morning America, The New York Post and more. Katrina Per-Carruthers

Katrina is a professional dog trainer and holds a BA in Psychology & Communications, an RMT designation and is CASI-CBST & CPTD-KA pending. Katrina is also a licensed Equestrian Canada Coach where she combined her love of french classical dressage with clicker training.
With 15 years of experience teaching both dog and horse owners across Canada, Katrina is known for her clinics on animal behaviour. Her background work as a pain-science focused RMT gives her a unique insight into biomechanics and body language in animal training.
Katrina excels at solving complex training problems with elegant solutions and has a particular talent for helping the human side of the training equation.

Katrina lives with her Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Maeve, and her Haflinger horse, Samwise.
